GungHo Online Entertainment CEO Kazuki Morishita has revealed that the developer is working on an unannounced Nintendo Switch exclusive.

This was described as an “action game for all ages with a lighter, comical tone,” that will have both single-player and multiplayer components. As a new IP, Morishita shared that it was unlike anything on the market right now.

“No direct comparison exists,” Morishita explained to Destructoid. “It’s a gameplay style that has not been seen before.”

It did not start out as a Nintendo Switch exclusive, however, as the concept has been around for “4-5 years” before it recently started to fall into place.

Many will know GungHo Online Entertainment after they collaborated with Nintendo on Puzzle & Dragons Z + Super Mario Bros. Edition, which saw release as a Nintendo 3DS exclusive.
