Outright Games has teamed up with UNICEF to release the DreamWorks Kids Bundle, which is available now digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch.

This three-games-in-one collection has been released as part of the publisher’s aim to “leverage their unrivalled access to the biggest IPs in family-friendly entertainment to raise over £200,000 a year for UNICEF’s Resources for Results Fund which enables the charity to rapidly support those in need during humanitarian emergencies and allocate resources to children wherever and whenever the need is greatest.”

Priced at £19.99 ($19.99), the DreamWorks Kids Bundle includes DreamWorks Dragons: Dawn of New Riders, DreamWorks Spirit Lucky’s Big Adventure and DreamWorks Trollhunters: Defenders of Arcadia with all profits from sales to go directly to UNICEF.

“Our partnership with UNICEF has been a huge success out the gate, and we’re overjoyed to see our audience respond so well to what we have always believed is a very authentic and natural alignment between our two brands,” enthuses Outright Games’ Nick Ricks. “These fundraising activities would not be possible without our amazing licensing partners and we’re so grateful for this opportunity to support our efforts in raising awareness for this vital cause.”

It is confirmed that there will be “additional high-profile video game charity bundles” from Outright Games, which are planned to launch in 2023.

Games in the DreamWorks Kids Bundle:

DreamWorks Spirit Lucky’s Big Adventure

Based on 2021’s award-winning DreamWorks Animation feature film Spirit Untamed, this video game adaptation puts players in the saddle as Lucky and her faithful mustang, Spirit, alongside her fearless best friends, Abigail and Pru, as they head out on a treasure-hunting adventure. Discover the hidden treasures of Lucky’s frontier town, Miradero, navigate danger in the massive open-world frontier, embark on exciting quests and take photos of unique in-game animals.

The Spirit franchise has achieved huge success with the Netflix series Spirit Riding Free, released across eight full seasons and several specials, receiving huge critical acclaim, including an Emmy Award in 2019 for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation. The DreamWorks Spirit toy line was nominated for a Toy of the Year Award in 2018 and in 2019 for Doll of the Year.

DreamWorks Dragons: Dawn of New Riders

Set in the world of DreamWorks Animation’s critically acclaimed How to Train Your Dragon franchise, this original adventure takes players to the skies in an epic battle to save Dragon-kind from Eir, a fiery foe who is determined to make all Dragons do her evil bidding. Alongside new friends Scribbler and Patch, discover exciting locations both new and familiar, meet fan favourite characters and clash with fierce enemies in this action-adventure game.

Beginning in 2010, the How to Train Your Dragon trilogy of blockbuster films has grossed more than $1.6 billion. The storytelling from the franchise has gone hand-in-hand with groundbreaking television and digital entertainment and has been lauded with multiple Academy Award nominations and a Golden Globe Award for the second film in the series.

DreamWorks Trollhunters: Defenders of Arcadia

Inspired by the hit DreamWorks Animation and Netflix Emmy-winning series from Academy Award-winning filmmaker Guillermo del Toro this action-adventure video game features an all-star voice cast that includes the original talent from the show Emile Hirsch, Charlie Saxton, Lexi Medrano and David Bradley. Telling a brand-new story that takes place during the animated series, the video game acts as a key narrative beat that throws players into the world of Trollhunters. Take part in a couch co-op adventure, helping hand from beloved characters to face unknown evil forces and stop the Time-pocalypse.
