After teasing the collaboration last week, we will soon learn more about plans for how Marvel characters will make an appearance within Disney Infinity.

Disney are sending invitations for a press event on April 30th at which they plan to show “the latest chapter of Disney Infinity.” Whilst it remains unclear as to whether this relates to Disney Infinity 2.0, as mentioned in the trailer, there’s potential that it could just be a line of new figures to expand upon the current range.

It was last month that a Disney Infinity sequel was confirmed to be in the works, with Disney Company chairman and CEO Bob Iger sharing that they had plans for “new iterations” that would use a “broader set” of their more popular characters.
