Diddy Kong glitch to be addressed in Super Smash Bros. Version 1.1.2 Update
This is being be rolled out in response to a glitch discovered in Version 1.1.1, in which Diddy Kong could become completely invincible to grabs and therefore couldn’t be thrown. The conditions for this were fairly specific, requiring the player controlling Diddy to use a shield against a multi-hit move.
If the player then grabs out, the character will be struck but will then be immune to any grabs performed by opponents. Normal attacks will still work, although the invincibility effectively resets when Diddy is KO’d.
