SOEDESCO and Superlumen have announced that their first-person point-and-click graphic adventure Desolatium will release on Nintendo Switch.
After waking up on a bed in a strange room, Carter cannot remember anything – even his name. When he looks around he suspects that something is not right and must make his escape in order to work out what is happening. When his friends discover that he has disappeared, the true journey begins.
You must investigate mysterious events to discover who is behind the madness, often resulting in finding something that you were not looking for as it will take you into the darkness, terror and insanity of this desolated world.
There are four characters that you can play as, each with their own path and destinations to explore. The decisions that you make can have unexpected consequences, leading you to one of many endings.
The publisher has outlined the game’s key features, which include:
- Explore a new graphic adventure based on Lovecraft mythos
- Play as four different characters, each with their own mechanics and characteristics
- Explore levels based on real-world locations in 360º
- Get Immersed in a thrilling adventure with ambisonics audio and a unique art style straight out of a comic
Desolatium will release digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2023.
