The Denpa Men RPG Free! surpasses 500,000 downloads

Genius Sonority continued Nintendo’s foray into the free-to-play arena by releasing The Denpa Men RPG Free! back on July 23rd.

That has seen success across Japan, with the developer confirming that it has been downloaded more than 500,000 times in the two months since its release.

The game follows the series trend of exploring dungeons with the titular creatures, battling monsters that cross your path. Free-to-play elements naturally ply you with the opportunity to purchase in-game items, although there has been no transparency as to whether these have generated much revenue.

As yet Genius Sonority haven’t announced any intention of bringing The Denpa Men RPG Free! westward.
