Whilst we now know that Techland were able to get the Chrome Engine running on Wii U “without any problems,” publisher Deep Silver have waded into the fray to discuss why Dead Island Riptide is skipping the console.

Asked through social media site Twitter as to the reasoning behind not bringing the game to Nintendo’s console, a spokesperson clarified: “We looked at whether it would be worth releasing it on Wii U, but decided against it.”
