THQ Nordic has announced that de Blob 2 will release on Nintendo Switch next month, seeing Comrade Black and his war on colour make a return.

As de Blob, you must reignite the colour revolution to stop him and his brainwashed new cult from taking over Prisma City.

With the risk that all colourful individuality will be wiped from existence, you join the Colour Underground and must work to restore colour to the world in 12 single-player levels.

With custom paints, patterns and music bringing the world to life in any way that you want, the platformer challenges you to speed-smash through walls, jet-jump over skyscrapers and slam-squash Inkies as you retaliate – whether alone or in the two-player split-screen co-op mode.

de Blob 2 will release at retail and on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch on August 28th, priced at £26.99 (€29.99).
