The Pokémon Company International has announced that a Dark-Tera Type Charizard distribution event is now live for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet.
Running from now until 4.59pm PDT on Thursday 31 August 2023, the event has looked to help mark Pokémon TCG Scarlet and Violet – Obsidian Flames expansion’s launch this month – which will introduce a Darkness-type Charizard ex card.
Until it ends, you can receive a Dark-Tera Type Charizard through the Mystery Gift feature in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet using the password DARKTERA0006.
How to Get Dark–Tera Type Charizard in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet
- Launch your Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet
- Select Poké Portal on the X menu.
- Select Mystery Gift, then select Get with Code/Password to connect to the internet.
- Enter the password DARKTERA0006.
- Watch as the gift arrives in your game. (Pokémon will appear in your party or in your Pokémon Boxes.)
- Be sure to save your game.
Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet are now available at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
