Team Visai has announced that their narrative cooking game Venba will release on Nintendo Switch, news that was shared in this week’s Indie World showcase.
You play as Venba, an Indian mother who immigrates to Canada with her family in the 1980s. Her recipe book is damaged in the move, and you must restore its lost pages as you cook the delicious, mouth-watering dishes that serve as a connection to the home her family left behind.
Through branching conversations, you will be able to get to know the family and explore a story about family, love, loss and the challenges that arise from day-to-day life.
The developer has outlined the game’s key features as below:
