Konami has announced that the Contra Anniversary Collection is now available on Nintendo Switch.
This has ten classic games from the run-and-gun action series that developer M2 worked hard to adapt for modern gaming systems.
Those games are Contra (Arcade), Super Contra (Arcade), Super C (NES), Contra III: The Alien Wars (SNES), Contra: Hard Corps (SEGA Genesis), Contra (NES), Contra (Famicom), Operation C (Game Boy), Probotector (SEGA Mega Drive), and Super Probotector: Alien Rebels (SNES).
As with the Arcade Classics Anniversary Collection and Castlevania Anniversary Collection, a free software update will also add Japanese versions of six games – Contra (Arcade), Super Contra (Arcade), Super C, Contra III: The Alien Wars, Operation C, and Contra: Hard Corps.
The Contra Anniversary Collection also comes with a digital bonus book that “provides a comprehensive look into Contra’s history and beginnings.”
Contra Anniversary Collection is now available on on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide, priced at £15.99 ($19.99).
