TAITO Corporation and ININ Games have revealed that Bubble Bobble 4 Friends will include the original Bubble Bobble.
The 1986 coin-op version promises “arcade-perfect quality,” seeing the twins Bub and Bob set out to free their girlfriends from the nasty baron who has turned them into bubble dragons.
The ’80s classic will see you hop your way through 100 colorful levels, shooting bubbles at the enemies that cross your path – whether that be playing solo or in two-player co-op mode.
Whereas, after more than 10 years, the game’s sequel Bubble Bobble 4 Friends has been created by the original studio and will include a brand new local multiplayer mode for up to four players.
One night, a child’s room became enfolded by a miraculous light and every object under its rays suddenly came to life – including the child’s most favorite toy, the little dragon called Bub. Full of jealousy, the wicked magician Baron von Blubba challenges the friendly dragon to battle.
Bubble Bobble 4 Friends will release exclusively for Nintendo Switch in Europe and Australasia on November 19th, and in North America in Q1 2020.
