Bravely Second made a welcome appearance within Friday’s Nintendo Direct, bringing confirmation that the Nintendo 3DS exclusive will release in Japan this winter.
This was accompanied by a gameplay trailer for the Bravely Default sequel narrated by central protagonist Agnès Oblige, in which Square Enix share cinematic, world map traversal, and battle footage to whet your appetite. We can also hear sublime music plucked from the game’s soundtrack, this time composed by supercell songwriter Ryo.
Bravely Second will launch exclusively for Nintendo 3DS in Japan this winter, with no announcements yet made regarding a western localisation.
