Bravely Default TV advertisements take flight ahead of launch

Now just a week away from release, Nintendo of America have shared two 30-second TV spots that they will use to promote the launch of Square Enix’s innovative JRPG, Bravely Default.

These individually take different approaches, the first largely placing an emphasis on in-game battle mechanics, whereas the second looks to short insight into the game’s narrative.

“When your world is in peril, you must risk everything to save it. Even if bravery is all you have left,” the trailer bellows. “On the battlefield, strategy pays off. Shield yourself with Default, then use Brave to strike multiple times in one turn.” It’s a concise description, but at least conveys the 3DS exclusive in some form.

Bravely Default is currently available across Europe, and launches in North America on February 7th.
