Nintendo of America has confirmed that ATLUS are handling the localisation effort for Wii U exclusive Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE.

That decision was made to make sure that the Shin Megami Tensei and Fire Emblem mash-up RPG “feels familiar and appeals to longtime ATLUS fans,” with any changes made to the localised release coming at the requirement of the respective countries in which Nintendo will publish the game.

“Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE was localised by ATLUS in a way that is consistent with the localisation work they do on games they publish,” a Nintendo of America spokesperson shared with Game Informer. “It was a priority to ensure the game feels familiar and appeals to longtime ATLUS fans. Any changes made to the in-game content were due to varying requirements and regulations in the many different territories Nintendo distributes its products.”

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE will launch exclusively for Wii U in Europe and North America on June 24th, and in Australia on June 25th.
