Koei Tecmo has announced that Atelier Lydie & Suelle: The Alchemists and the Mysterious Paintings will receive a western release on Nintendo Switch.

This conclusion to the Mysterious series will also mark the 20th anniversary for GUST’s Atelier franchise, and will follow the tale of the alchemist twins; the reserved but caring Lydie Marlen, and the eccentric and carefree Suelle Marlen.

These young twins work with their father at the family atelier, but, thanks to his inexperience in alchemy, they rarely welcome any customers. When dedicating their time to hone their skills, the twins uncover a mysterious looking painting and, when investigating it further, they are pulled into a world filled with rare materials that are perfect for alchemy.

Atelier Lydie & Suelle: The Alchemists and the Mysterious Paintings will release for Nintendo Switch in Europe and North America in early 2018.
