Assassin’s Creed III has become the fastest-selling game within Ubisoft’s history, the company has confirmed.
It has achieved sales beyond seven million since it released a month ago, with fans accumulating over 82 centuries worth of game time and performing more than 3 billion assassinations.
More than twice as many players are participating within the game’s multiplayer compared to Assassin’s Creed Revelations, with over 250 million assassinations spread across 5 billion different sessions.
“We are delighted with the performance of Assassin’s Creed III this Christmas,” comments Rob Cooper, UK managing director at Ubisoft.
“This is a beautiful and epic game of exceptional quality and we’re pleased that our fans have responded so well to the brand new universe, storyline and game experience.”
