Ground Shatter and Ant Workshop have announced that SkyScrappers will release on Nintendo Switch, a classic arcade-style multiplayer fighting game.

Around the world, a secret group of international risk-takers use skyscrapers that are being demolished as their playground. Fighting each other as they race towards the sky past, falling debris tumbles all around them as they compete to become the winner before the building crashes to the ground.

Whether in the single-player campaign or the local multiplayer mode for up to four players, you must race, scrap and scale your way up the crumbling brickwork to be the first to reach the top.

The Nintendo Switch port will also have a brand new vertical Tate mode, which has been developed exclusively for the portable home console.

“In many ways, the Switch is the natural fit for SkyScrappers. With its pick-up and play controls and couch multiplayer, it’s never been easier for a group of friends to grab a JoyCon and jump into the high-rise action,” Ground Shatter director James Parker explained.

“And the new vertical Tate Mode finally brings to realisation the authentic arcade experience that we’ve craved since we came up with the game.”

SkyScrappers will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on October 29th.
