Apply to be a 2014 Pokémon National/World Championships commentator!


If you’ve ever fancied yourself as being part of a live commentary team, then The Pokémon Company International have now provided an opportunity.

They’re looking for knowledgable Pokémon fans to lead live commentary across the 2014 Pokémon US National Championships and the Pokémon World Championships, appearing on-screen at the events which will be streamed live worldwide.

Travel and hotel costs will be covered, with auditions open to US residents aged 18 and over who can attend both the US National Championships held between July 4th – 6th in Indianapolis, Indiana, and the World Championships taking place between August 15th – 17th in Washington, D.C.

Entrants must submit an audition video where they commentate solo or with a partner on a Pokémon X, Pokémon Y, or Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) match, the video then being posted to YouTube with the title “Play! Pokémon Commentary Audition: [YOUR NAME]”.

Once posted, entrants will then need to email with the following information, with the closing date being April 21st 2014:
