Aggro Crab Games has revealed that the release window for its Soulslike 3D platformer Another Crab’s Treasure has been delayed into early 2024.
This next game from the developer behind Going Under is set in a crumbling underwater world that has become plagued by a mysterious curse and pollution.
You play as a brave hermit crab called Kril, and must explore an undersea society that “has entered a period of garbage-fueled prosperity.” That adventure will see you discover the dark forces of industry and the pollution placing it under threat.
To succeed on your epic treasure hunt to buy back your repossessed shell, you must wear the trash around you as shells to withstand attacks from enemies that are many times your size.
The developer has outlined the game’s key features, which include:
- Challenging yet approachable Soulslike combat;
- A grand undersea world to explore;
- Over 50 shells to try on and fend off attackers;
- Smite your enemies with powerful Umami Magic;
- Way Too Many Crabs.
Another Crab’s Treasure will release digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in early 2024.
