Rainy Frog, DICO and BottleCube have announced that Animated Jigsaws: Beautiful Japanese Scenery will release on Nintendo Switch.

This, as you can expect from the game’s name, will let you piece together animated jigsaw puzzles of Japan’s most beautiful scenery either alone or with help from up to four other players.

The images that have been used look to capture the natural beauty of the country in all four seasons, and include famous locations such as Mt. Fuji, Kyoto, the scramble crossing in the metropolitan Shibuya district in Tokyo, and Snow Monkeys enjoying a bath in a natural hot spring.

You can use either the touch screen or Joy-Con to play, with each image broken down into three puzzle sizes that have either 60, 120, or 240 pieces. Each piece will snap into place to help once correctly placed, and you can choose to separate edge and inner pieces, too.

Animated Jigsaws: Beautiful Japanese Scenery will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on April 5th, priced at £7.99 (€8.99).
