Japan’s Weekly Famitsu has revealed that Agitha from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is a playable character in Hyrule Warriors.
Who, you cry? Agitha, who describes herself as “Princess of Bugs,” was a Hyrule Castle Town inhabitant who spent her time collecting Golden Bugs. She’ll apparently fight using a parasol, and attack her foes with swarms of insects. Quite how that translates into a playable character is anyone’s guess, but we’ll learn soon enough in the coming days.
The magazine shared multiple reveals relating to the Wii and GameCube classic, notably that antagonist Zant and City in the Sky dungeon boss Argorok will make an appearance in game.
We also learn of Lana, another female playable character who is the silver-haired spell caster seen in the Wii U exclusive’s box art, which you can see below. It’s also worth noting that the dragon in the background may even be Argorok himself. She wields a book of magic, and can create barriers to blast away incoming enemies. If the barrier is broken, however, she’ll receive damage.
Hyrule Warriors will release exclusively for Wii U across Europe on September 19th, and North America on September 26th.
