Those attending the 2014 Pokémon World Championships this year will be able to enjoy partaking in a special Aegislash distribution event.
The Pokémon Company International have confirmed that they will have a local wireless distribution running throughout the event, that will allow Pokémon X and Pokémon Y players to receive the Level 50 Aegislash. Other details confirm that the Level 50 Aegislash will have the Stance Change ability, carry a Sitrus Berry, and have Wide Guard, King’s Shield, Shadow Ball and Flash Cannon moves.
It will be the Wide Guard move that draws most attention, being particularly useful in Double Battles where it allows Aegislash to protect itself and any allies that fall victim to attacks that can damage multiple Pokémon per turn. As an Egg Move, this is tricky for Aegislash to learn through normal gameplay and so will be an important addition to any competitive team.
