Mewtwo is set to make a monumental return to the world of Pokémon, plans unveiled by The Pokémon Company have revealed.
Owners of Pokémon Black and White can anticipate a character distribution event from February 12th, where you’ll be able to receive the legendary Pokémon. Further details regarding the event and Mewtwo’s powerful move set are set to be revealed early next month. To participate, you will need:
* Wireless broadband Internet access
* A Nintendo DS, Nintendo DSi, Nintendo DSi XL, or Nintendo 3DS system
* A copy of the Pokémon Black Version or Pokémon White Version game
* No more than 11 Wonder Cards in their possession
That’s not all either, as Pokémon Trading Card Game collectors will be able to look forward to Mewtwo-EX making its debut in the new expansion ‘Pokémon Trading Card Game: Black & White – Next Destinies’! This will be available from February 8th, and will also include Reshiram-EX, Zekrom-EX, Kyurem-EX, and Regigigas-EX.
Lastly, for a limited time, only fans will be able to watch Mewtwo’s appearance in a special showing of ‘The Mastermind of Mirage Pokémon’, viewable on the Pokémon website. The story centering upon a Pokémon scientist’s ability to restore extinct Pokémon using the Mirage System machine.
