Armikrog developer Pencil Test Studios have shared that Armikrog will release “substantially later” on Wii U.
Backed through a Kickstarter campaign, a successful $950,000 stretch goal had secured their clay adventure game for Nintendo’s console. In doing so, the developer reasons that they need more time to make use of the Wii U GamePad rather than simply release an identical port.
Ideas that they’d previously pondered were using the GamePad screen to display Tommynaut’s inventory to declutter the TV screen, as Beak-Beak’s visor to search for clues, and to solve drawing-based puzzles.
