It has been confirmed that Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor will not see release on Wii U.
The Lord of the Rings prequel, which sees players in the role of ranger Talion whose family is slain by Sauron’s armies, is being developed by Monolith Productions in collaboration with Middle-earth Enterprises, Weta Workshop and director Peter Jackson to make sure that it aligns with J.R.R. Tolkien’s creation.
As is continually becoming a regular occurence, it will see release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, although the developer wouldn’t be pushed to provide a reason as to why it’s skipping Wii U. Another one to throw up on the pile of disappointments.
