USAopoly has already teamed up with Nintendo to release the Monopoly: Nintendo Collector’s Edition and Monopoly: The Legend of Zelda Collector’s Edition, but the property trading game now invites players to buy and sell worlds in the Mushroom Kingdom.
The Monopoly: Super Mario Bros. Collector’s Edition harks back to the Nintendo Entertainment System classic, whether that be Warp Pipes and ? Blocks replacing Community Chest and Chance cards, attacked by a Goomba rather than being charged income tax, or a Vine, Lift, Cloud Lift and Trampoline acting as train stations.
Players can choose between 8-bit pixel pieces that cover Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Toad, a Goal Pole and even a Castle, which have allowed the Collector’s Edition to already prove popular.
That has seen it already quickly sell out on Amazon where it is priced at $64.95, with more stock promised to be shortly on the way.
