Nintendo’s Splatoon Direct let out a splurge of information about the third-person shooter, but also contained a splattering of surprises.
That will namely come in Splatoon-themed New Nintendo 3DS Cover Plates, colourfully coated with neon ink splats. These will be released across Europe in July, and, if I remember correctly, mark the first time that Nintendo have used the customisable plates as a cross-promotion move between Wii U and New Nintendo 3DS.
Splatoon will launch exclusively for Wii U in Japan on May 28th, and everywhere else worldwide on May 29th.
