Nintendo can celebrate some success within this week’s UK all-format sales chart, with the eccentric Tomodachi Life having clambered up five places.
That surge was largely attributed to retail promotions for the 3DS exclusive, seeing sales grow by a rather healthy 53 percent compared to the prior week. That makes it Nintendo’s highest placed title in the chart at 11th, narrowly edging out Mario Kart 8 which itself rose a place since last week to shift into 12th.
It was Sniper Elite 3 that topped the chart for a second successive week, with the top five rounded out by Watch_Dogs, FIFA 14, Titanfall and Wolfenstein: The New Order.
In our review, we wrote that: “Tomodachi Life offers hilarity and fun while it lasts, but without any purpose or clear direction behind what you’re doing it meanders far too often.”
