Crytek has inadvertently leaked that Crysis Remastered is in development for Nintendo Switch.
Fans have managed to access the updated teaser website for the CryEngine-built remaster, revealing that the first-person shooter is coming to the portable home console.
“Crytek’s ground-breaking, critically acclaimed first person shooter is back!” a message on the website reads.
“Crysis Remastered is coming to PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch – the game’s debut on a Nintendo platform.”
Crysis was originally released for PC back in 2007, and was used as a way to benchmark hardware performance in relation to the game’s high-end system requirements. So much so, that it eventually went on to create the “But can it run Crysis?” meme.
