After three weeks on sale, Animal Crossing: New Leaf has gathered together its humble townsfolk to celebrate sales that have surpassed 505,000 units.
Such a figure combines purchases made at retail and through the Nintendo eShop, with Nintendo of America confirming that a sizeable 20 percent chunk of such figure were digital sales – amounting to an approximate 101,000 units alone.
Such success is the second-highest ratio for Nintendo eShop purchases behind Fire Emblem: Awakening, and Nintendo’s internal trackers indicate that July is seeing similarly strong sales.
