Nintendo 3DS sees Japanese sales surge

The Nintendo 3DS continued to dominate the Japanese market last week, aided by the launch of Atlus’ Shin Megami Tensei IV which topped the software chart.

Elsewhere the Wii U version of Resident Evil: Revelations placed tenth, whilst the Nintendo 3DS celebrated
having nine games within the top 20.

Yet it was the sales performance of Nintendo’s handheld itself that impressed most, hitting 54,710 units across the week.
