It is just over a week until we learn more about Nintendo Switch but another retailer has opened pre-orders for the home gaming system, and, therefore, has provided another hint at its price point.
While the Argos website only invites you to register your interest, in-store displays are now listing the home gaming system for pre-order.
The price point? £299.99. Although, as Reddit user playerdemand‘s quick snap shows, these was an additional note that indicated that the price is correct at the time of writing but may be subject to change.
GameSeek has priced Nintendo Switch at £198.50 with a pre-order guarantee, which falls in line with the pricing that specialist retailer GAME has been rumoured to be planning.
Those suggest that there will be a basic SKU priced at £199.99, while a second SKU at £249.99 will include more internal storage and a bundled game. The Nintendo Switch Pro Controller is expected to sell at £39.99.
The Nintendo Switch Presentation 2017 will broadcast at 8pm PT (11pm ET) on Thursday 12th January or 4am GMT (5am CET) on Friday 13th January.
that will be a filler price that will drop but it is Argos so they do tend to sell it at the highest price than anyone else minus other catalogues companies that will always put and extra £50
