Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge has joined Wii U’s launch line-up across North America on November 18th, with a European release set for January 11th.
Enigmatic warrior Ryu Hayabusa must lift a curse that threatens to destroy him, utilising six weapons at his disposal each with their own strengths. A Sword, Claws, Scythe, Dual Katana, Staff and Kusari-Gama ensure that gameplay can be immediately varied on a whim, with Ninpo also increased to three.
The Wii U version will include enhancements, such as Ayane as a playable character within her own exclusive chapters, and the enemies’ ability to continue fighting even with dismembered limbs.
In addition, players can benefit from a character-progression system, hidden battle areas called Test of Valor within each chapter, and the opportunity to play as Ryu and Ayane in an online co-operative mode.
Further playable characters will also be available as free downloadable content following release.
