Brian Blessed’s unmistakably boisterous voice now accompanies Nintendo UK’s wave of television advertising for Wii U exclusive, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze.
The British actor had previously been hired for last year’s Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, clearly loving the role so much that he didn’t mind stepping in again for the hairy ape’s new game.
We loved Retro Studio’s latest in our review, writing: “Donkey Kong once again responds to the call of the jungle drum, rampaging through a game filled with sensational thrills that Wii U owners most certainly shouldn’t be without.”
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze releases for Wii U across North America and Europe on February 21st.
