In demonstrating their quick response to correct the Pokémon X and Pokémon Y save glitch that emerged following launch, Nintendo have now distributed a patch that will remove any danger.

No longer will you have to fear that your valued save will become corrupt when saving in the surrounding boulevard of Lumiose City, making use of the QR Code (below) which takes you straight to the Nintendo eShop to download the patch immediately.

These can be used by activating the camera from the Home Menu (press either the L or R Button) and then hitting the relevant icon to the left of the screen. Once downloaded, the patch will then install automatically with players able to confirm that it has been successful by checking to see that their copy of the game has been updated to Version 1.1.

What the Update Does
* Prevents the occurrence of a rare issue in which players are unable to resume playing after saving their game in certain areas of Lumiose City. Players already affected by this issue will also be able to resume playing normally after downloading and installing this update data.
* Prevents errors which sometimes occur when using certain functions of the GTS (a feature allowing players all around the world to exchange Pokémon).
