As previously teased by creator Masahiro Sakurai, Super Smash Bros. made a welcome appearance within today’s E3 2013 Nintendo Direct.
The long awaited reveal trailer divided itself into two parts, both of which you can see below. Firstly, beloved characters that have remained stalwart inclusions throughout the series battle their way across Nintendo 3DS and Wii U footage for the game, after which it is revealed that “Villager” from Animal Crossing: New Leaf will join them. This was then followed by Capcom’s Mega Man also being announced as a new playable character.
Super Smash Bros. will release across Nintendo 3DS and Wii U in 2014.
