LEGO City Undercover today launches across Europe, and Nintendo have announced plans to distribute unlock codes for the game through their Wii U Facebook and Twitter accounts from next week.
These will allow players to expand upon the disguises available to Chase McCain, ensuring that he’s able to remain incognito during missions. Such costumes will range from a footballer, pop star, pharaoh and minotaur.
Alongside this, Nintendo will also provide two vehicles to unlock, joining the 110 already available within the Wii U exclusive. These are available at Vehicle Call-in Points around LEGO City, and see Chase pursue his investigation by land, sea or air.
We really enjoyed the game, writing within our review: “It’s the endless wit and charm that makes this Wii U exclusive what it is, and we certainly hope that with such a well-laid foundation in place, Nintendo will seek to invest a few more LEGO Bricks to build upon it in future.”
Alex Seedhouse+ Alex's early adoration for Nintendo began with a Yellow Game Boy and a copy of Donkey Kong Land. This developed over the years, later peaking when he hid in his room to play The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time one Christmas. Nowadays, his enthusiasm is shared through Nintendo Insider, a place in which he can document his thoughts regarding the big N.
