First-person Mario once again imagined

Nintendo’s synonymous icon has once again been reimagined within a solely first-person perspective.

This latest creation is by Brandon Laatsch, who previously unleashed the viral sensation “First-Person Mario” upon the world, back in 2011.

Having taken 50 days to render, Laatsch utilised software including 3DSMax 2012, After Effects, and Fume FX to create this gritty representation of Mario’s world.

The initial stage is a little heavy on cannonballs and Monty Moles, but the video really excels when Mario confronts arch nemesis, Bowser.
