Nintendo Video to showcase Kolin’s ‘Mountain King’
Published on November 14th, 2012

Nintendo Video will play home to the latest single from MTV EMA award-winning band The Kolin this week.

The 3D music video for ‘Mountain King’ was created and produced by Umbrella, with artwork by Miss Margrin, and directed by Danila Kostil. The production house is renowned for their creative filmmaking techniques, which mix 2D animation with live action, stop motion and CGI technologies.

The Kolin themselves are a Hungarian band from Budapest, formed in 2008, who are famous for mixing 1980s/1990s analogue synths and living sounds with dirty guitar sounds and groovy drums.

They have received nominations for the Best European Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2009 (Berlin) and at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2010 (Madrid).
