Pokémon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages is nearing its cinematic release in Japan, but a special preview showing has revealed that The Pokémon Company are already thinking about what’s next.

Serebii reports that at the conclusion of Hoopa and the Clash of Ages, a new trailer is shared that reveals Legendary Pokémon Zygarde will be the main attraction in next year’s movie – similarly scheduled to release around the same time in Summer 2016.

It is clarified that such information comes from second-hand reports, although backed by evidence that they had attended the preview showing. If indeed true, the news will likely be reconfirmed when Hoopa and the Clash of Ages opens in Japan on Saturday 18th July.
