The Pokémon Company International has confirmed that Zeraora has been defeated more than 1,435,283 times in Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield.
With the one million target now met, this means that all Trainers will be able to receive a special Shiny Zeraora in Pokémon HOME from Monday 29th June 2020.
However, it has been teased that “greater rewards await if more Trainers come out victorious in this Max Raid Battle!”
The Mythical Pokémon is appearing in a special Max Raid Battle to help celebrate players having the chance to explore The Isle of Armor expansion content.
Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield are now available exclusively for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
