As a melody that has recurred since it was first penned for The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, it won’t come as a surprise that Zelda’s Lullaby can be heard in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Given the character’s prominent role in Link’s open-air adventure, what is unexpected is where it has been heard. YouTube user tmo. noticed that the iconic melody could be heard when exploring Hyrule Field, although it required that the accompanying music be sped up. You can listen to an example of this in their video, below.

This isn’t the first time that Zelda’s Lullaby has been heard in a surprising way. When the Ballad of the Goddess composed for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is played backwards, Zelda’s Lullaby can be heard intertwined with the melody.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will release exclusively on Nintendo Switch and Wii U worldwide on March 3rd.
