Nintendo has reportedly added a new title ID for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD on the Nintendo eShop, sparking conversation that the company may be preparing to unleash another remaster.

Its discovery was shared by NWPlayer123, a hacker known for rifling through Splatoon for hidden secrets. In a conversation with another data miner, they jointly discuss the new title ID’s recent appearance on the Nintendo eShop for which Nintendo has accompanied with supporting artwork.

Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma has previously shared how they had experimented with The Wind Waker, Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword, to observe how each graphic style would transition to HD.

While we know that they chose to pursue The Wind Waker, he added that Link’s other adventures could eventually receive similar treatment: “I can’t say that the possibility is zero that those will be made into HD, but right now I need to work on the next installation in the series so I don’t have the bandwidth to do that right now. But maybe it will happen if someone else does it.”

The Wind Waker HD had taken six months to develop, so it isn’t entirely unimaginable that Nintendo could have looked to release another remaster to fill the void left due to delays suffered by Star Fox Zero and The Legend of Zelda Wii U.
