Zelda: Tri Force Heroes dethroned in Japan’s weekly software sales chart

The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes was dethroned in this week’s Japanese software sales chart, with Media Create revealing that Bandai Namco’s God Eater Resurrection secured the top spot by shifting 125,876 copies.

That saw Link’s adventure tumble to fourth, with Wii U exclusives Super Mario Maker and Splatoon continuing to continue steadily. Other new releases came in Take-Two’s NBA 2K16 and Microsoft’s Halo 5: Guardians which entered the chart in ninth and eleventh respectively.

As for hardware, the Nintendo 3DS family of systems sold another 21,880 units whereas Wii U shifted 9,127 systems.
