The Phantom Armor set is back in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, which takes its inspiration from the Nintendo DS classic The Legend of Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass.

Where is the Phantom Armor in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

You will want to head to the Tamio River Downstream Cave (Coordinates -2922, -0805, 0008), which is to the west of Central Hyrule and northeast of the Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower (Coordinates ).

Inside you will need to defeat Blue and Silver Horriblins, before swimming across the water and taking the left-hand path. There will be Gloom Hands in here which are easily beaten with a handful of Bomb Flower-fused arrows, before Phantom Ganon appears – headshots with arrows and dodging to perform Flurry Rush attacks will be enough to topple him.

With Phantom Ganon defeated, make your way to the back of the cave where you will find a destructible wall (Coordinates -2990, -1022, 0008) and let fly with another Bomb Flower-fused arrow. There are Bomb Flowers inside the cave if you are worried that you will run out.

Make your way up the path that you have created, and you will discover a shrine with the treasure chest that contains the Phantom Armor. This has an 8 armor rating and an Attack Up stat bonus, with its in-game description reading: “Myths abound about armored phantoms that terrorized brave heroes. This piece looks just like the armor they supposedly wore. It’s a rather rare find.”

Head to Puffer Beach on the south coat of the Faron region where you will discover the Puffer Beach Overhead Cave above you (Coordinates 0285, -3853, 0004). You can use nearby rockets on the beach, any Zonai Devices you are carrying or even the Flint, Wood and Hylian Pine Cone combo to help you access it. Once inside, defeat the Horriblins and you will find the Phantom Helmet inside a treasure chest.

Where are the Phantom Greaves in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

For the Phantom Greaves, you will want to head south from the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower (Coordinates 2432, -2178, 0307). If you look on your map, near the East Barrens you should see a group of circles that represent quicksand pits. You’re aiming for the one that’s in the centre on the second row from the bottom.

Fall through the quicksand and you will find yourself in the Ancient Altar Ruins, right next to the treasure chest in which you will find the Phantom Greaves.

As with the other pieces in the set, the Phantom Greaves also have an 8 armor rating and offer an Attack Up bonus, with their in-game description reading: “Myths abound about armored phantoms that terrorized brave heroes. These greaves look just like the ones they supposedly wore. It’s a rather rare find.”
