Super Mario Maker proved itself to be an exciting start to E3 2015 when it was used to create challenging courses to close out the Nintendo World Championships.

But, even if the Wii U exclusive’s sales are a resounding success, there aren’t any chances that the idea could eventually be spun into a similar creation tool for The Legend of Zelda.

“Zelda Maker might be a challenge to make I think,” producer Takashi Tezuka admitted to Game Informer.

“Personally, making Super Mario Maker that was a challenge in itself, and we hope that it’s a success, so thank you for saying that, but I think that might be a difficult task.”

That doesn’t mean to say it couldn’t be applied to other prominent side-scrolling series, such as Kirby, Yoshi, or Donkey Kong. Which would you like to see, if it ever happened?
