Zelda: A Link Between Worlds is GameSpot’s Game of the Year

Whilst we were full of praise for The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, it was great to see other critics basking the 3DS exclusive in the same light.

GameSpot have gone as far as to name it their Game of the Year, beating out competition from Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Grand Theft Auto V, The Last of Us, Super Mario 3D World, and Tearaway.

“No filler. No fluff. No problem,” they write. “A Link Between Worlds was so focused, so expertly crafted, that every moment shouted forth with childlike glee. Just a monumental achievement that brought out the kid in all of us.”

It’s a testament to just how incredible a year the 3DS has been treated to, with so many brilliant exclusives to choose from.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds is now available worldwide.
