Following the announcement at E3 that Nintendo were to hold a series of symphony concerts across the globe in celebration of The Legend of Zelda marking its 25th Anniversary, today has brought confirmation in regards to event details for North America.
‘The Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Symphony Concert,’ as it is to be unsurprisingly named, will be held October 21st at the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles, and will feature music from the iconic series picked by Nintendo composer Koji Kondo and his team.
A 70-piece orchestra will be joined by a choir to perform new arrangements of a variety of songs from the series’ 25-year history. The concerts will be produced by Jason Michael Paul Productions, Inc., the producers of PLAY! A Video Game Symphony, which has toured the world performing music from video games.
Ticket prices for the Los Angeles concert are available from as low as $35 and are due to go on sale on August 1st through Ticketmasker.
In addition, Nintendo have confirmed that a full concert tour for The Legend of Zelda will launch in 2012.
