ZaciSa’s Last Stand confirmed for Wii U

Indie support continues to gather momentum behind the Wii U, with ZeNfA Productions having shared that their 2D tower-defense game ZaciSa’s Last Stand is headed to the console.

Players must defend their base from an increasingly aggressive onslaught of enemy ships who are hell bent on destroying your way of life, which sounds largely unfair. You must deploy different upgradeable Bot weapons – which include the Sentry, Bomber, Cloud, and Shield – to defend yourself, with defeating each wave seeing the next be even stronger to challenge you.

Four maps will differentiate the experience, seeing you defending Space Station 001, Asteroid Mining Station 6, Hyperspace, and the Moonbase, each of which you can see in the trailer below.

ZaciSa’s Last Stand is currently scheduled for release through the Nintendo eShop by January 2014.
